Base44 enterprise refers to the Business and Enterprise tiers of Base44, the Wix-owned AI app builder, and those tiers add SSO, SCIM, IP allowlisting, data residency, and publishing controls.

A report that took one BenQ Latin America team member 10 days now runs in 20 minutes, according to Base44's enterprise page.

This guide covers the features, security, pricing, who it fits, and the alternatives, with every price checked against Base44's own pages in October 2026.

What is Base44 Enterprise? The 30-second answer

Base44 Enterprise is a set of workspace controls for companies that want departments building apps with AI on one platform.

Employees describe an app in plain English, and Base44 builds the interface, backend, database, and login. IT then manages who can sign in, publish, and spend.

Base44 sells two enterprise plans. Business is an upgrade with SSO, IP allowlisting, data residency, and publishing controls. Enterprise adds SCIM provisioning, audit logs, static outbound IPs, training-data opt-out, and a dedicated account manager, with custom pricing.

Bottom line: Base44 Enterprise puts SSO, access, and publishing controls around an AI app builder. Buyers in regulated industries should confirm HIPAA terms, uptime commitments, and an exit path in writing, and the fit section lists the questions to ask.

Base44 enterprise features

Base44 for enterprise comes down to the controls that Base44's enterprise docs list below. Both plans include them, except where the table says Enterprise only.

Here are the controls and the plan that includes each:

🧩 Feature 📝 What it does 📋 Plan
Single Sign-On Connects Base44 to your identity provider so your team signs in with company credentials Business and Enterprise
SSO for apps Enforces workspace SSO across every app in the workspace Business and Enterprise
Superagent controls Disables Superagents across the workspace if AI agents aren't approved Business and Enterprise
Workspace Hub Gives your team one home page for every app in the workspace Enterprise only
Workspace domain Connects your organization's domain to the workspace for a branded address Business and Enterprise
Publishing permissions Sets who can publish apps and which visibility levels each role can use Business and Enterprise
SCIM provisioning Syncs your identity provider with your workspace automatically Enterprise only
IP allowlist Restricts workspace and app access to approved IP addresses, ranges, and subnets Business and Enterprise
Workspace secrets Creates workspace-owned API keys for programmatic access Business and Enterprise
Outgoing webhooks Sends a signed request to your own systems when something happens in your workspace Business and Enterprise
Data residency Chooses where workspace app data is stored, in the US, EU, or UK Business and Enterprise
Member credit limits Sets a default monthly credit cap for every workspace member Business and Enterprise
Connector management Controls which external services are available in the workspace and how apps connect to them Business and Enterprise
White label Embeds the Base44 app editor in your own product on your domain Enterprise only

Enterprise also adds audit logs and activity monitoring, static outbound IP addresses, training-data opt-out, custom pricing and credits, and a dedicated account manager. Priority support comes with both plans.

Base44 enterprise security and governance

Base44's enterprise page says the platform runs on Wix's enterprise security infrastructure and lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance. Its security guide and security docs add the details below.

What Base44 lists for security:

  • Encryption: TLS 1.2 or higher in transit, AES-256 at rest, and secrets managed through a cloud key management service.
  • Testing: Internal and third-party penetration tests based on OWASP methodologies, plus a bug bounty program.
  • App-level checks: Every app comes with a security scan, which you run from the app's Security tab before publishing, plus row-level security and encrypted secrets.
  • Vendor transparency: A subprocessor directory in the Base44 Trust Center lists every vendor that handles your data.
  • Training data: Enterprise customers can opt out of having workspace data used to train AI models.
  • Controlled sharing: Apps are private, workspace-only, or public, and IT sets which visibility levels each role can use.

Neither HIPAA nor a business associate agreement (BAA) appears on Base44's enterprise page, its security guide, or its security docs. If you handle protected health information, get written confirmation before you plan around either.

Our guide to vibe coding governance covers six pillars to check in any platform, from app ownership and visibility to review and deployment.

Base44 enterprise pricing

Base44 enterprise pricing has three layers. The public plans are priced by credit, Business is an upgrade with its own credit sizes, and Enterprise is a custom quote.

I checked the monthly and annual rates against the Base44 pricing page and the credit sizes against its billing docs on October 23, 2026.

Public plans and the credit system

Base44 prices by credits. Message credits cover AI messages, and integration credits cover integration actions. Each plan includes a different number of credits.

Here are the public plans and what each includes:

💳 Plan 💰 Monthly billing 📅 Annual billing 💬 Message credits 🔌 Integration credits
Free $0 $0 25 100
Starter $20/month $16/month 100 2,000
Builder $50/month $40/month 250 10,000
Pro $100/month $80/month 500 20,000
Elite $200/month $160/month From 1,200 From 50,000

The pricing page has a Yearly and Monthly toggle and says yearly billing saves 20%. Elite reads $160/month on yearly billing and $200/month on monthly billing.

Base44 describes credits as a monthly usage allowance. It also says that third-party services you connect bill you directly.

How Business and Enterprise differ

Here is how the two enterprise plans compare:

🏢 Item 🟦 Business 🟪 Enterprise
How you buy Upgrade, then choose one of six credit sizes Talk to Base44's sales team
Price Not listed on the pricing page or in the billing docs Custom quote
Credits 2,400 to 5,400 message credits a month, in six sizes Custom credit pool
Included SSO, data residency, IP allowlisting, publishing controls, connector management, and member credit limits Everything in Business, plus SCIM, audit logs, static outbound IPs, training-data opt-out, and a dedicated account manager

What is the monthly cost of Base44 enterprise? Base44 doesn't publish it. Enterprise is custom-quoted, and Base44 lists no Business price.

Enterprise customers can pay by invoice or ACH transfer, and IT can set per-user caps on the workspace credit pool.

Base44's current pages list Starter at $20/month on monthly billing and SSO on both Business and Enterprise.

Base44 Enterprise pros and cons

Pros

  • Broad controls arrive with Business, including SSO, IP allowlisting, data residency, and publishing controls.
  • Agent and connector controls let IT disable Superagents and choose which external services apps can use.
  • Per-member credit caps give IT a default monthly limit for every workspace member.
  • Two-way GitHub sync keeps Base44 code and a repository in step, on the Builder plan or higher.
  • Wix ownership brings a public parent company, and Base44 lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and GDPR.

Cons

  • Key controls require Enterprise. SCIM, audit logs, static outbound IPs, and training-data opt-out all sit behind a custom quote.
  • Credit usage varies by action and AI model. A plan's monthly credits can therefore last different lengths of time.
  • Business has no listed price on Base44's pricing page or billing docs, and buyers can't compare it with the public plans from either.
  • No HIPAA or BAA appears on Base44's enterprise page, security guide, or security docs.
  • Thin third-party validation: just one Gartner Peer Insights review (5.0) as of late October 2026.

Base44 for enterprise: who it fits, and who should skip it

Base44 for enterprise suits buyers who want governed app building across departments, and the cases further down need extra checks before purchase.

When Base44 Enterprise fits

Base44 Enterprise fits you if you:

  • Want departments to build internal tools, such as onboarding portals, dashboards, and trackers, on one governed workspace.
  • Need SSO, IP allowlisting, and data residency in the US, EU, or UK without a long procurement cycle.
  • Want per-member credit caps and publishing approvals from day one.
  • Can accept Base44-hosted apps on a managed backend.

When to look closer or skip it

Look closer, or skip Base44 Enterprise, if you:

  • Handle protected health information: Get written confirmation of HIPAA support and a BAA first, since neither appears on Base44's enterprise or security pages.
  • Need to run in your own cloud: Base44's docs describe Base44-hosted apps with regional data residency, and I found no option to run apps in your own cloud account or VPC.
  • Need full backend ownership: Base44 hosts the backend, so ask how to export it before you build.
  • Need contract terms for uptime: Ask what service levels apply to your plan.
  • Are shipping a regulated production product: Run an audit and a pilot before you standardize an organization on any AI builder.

Questions to ask Base44 before you sign:

  • Which entity holds the contract and the data processing agreement?
  • Which subprocessors handle our data, and in which regions?
  • What is the audit log retention period, and can we export the logs?
  • What are the uptime commitments, and what remedy applies if they're missed?
  • What is our exit path for the backend, auth, and database?

When a Base44 prototype turns into a tool people depend on, our guide to prototype to production lists the six fixes every AI app needs first.

What is the current status of Base44?

Base44 is owned by Wix. Wix announced the acquisition on June 18, 2025, for about $80 million in initial consideration plus earn-out payments through 2029. Wix said Base44 would keep operating as a distinct product and business.

TechCrunch reported on June 29, 2026, that Base44 passed $150 million in annual recurring revenue in May, two months after crossing $100 million.

Base44's security guide lists Wix.com Ltd. as a subprocessor.

What this means for enterprise buyers:

  • Resources: Base44 draws on a public parent company's security infrastructure.
  • Contracting: Confirm which Wix or Base44 entity signs your agreement and data processing terms.
  • Roadmap: Ask how Base44's roadmap relates to Wix's, especially for anything you plan to depend on for years.

Base44 enterprise alternatives

Four platforms cover similar ground. The summaries below stick to what each vendor documents.

Lovable. Lovable is an AI app builder with a built-in backend. Its Business plan starts at $50/month and includes SSO and role-based access, while SCIM, audit logs, and scheduled security scans are on Enterprise at custom pricing.

Lovable lists SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and GDPR, and says it isn't HIPAA-compliant and offers no BAA. Our Lovable Enterprise review has the details.

Replit. Replit's Enterprise plan lists SSO, SCIM, audit logs, and single-tenant and private networking options at custom pricing. Its self-serve announcement adds role-based access and unlimited seats.

On Enterprise, teams commit to an annual credit amount, and the whole organization draws on that pool. See our guide to Replit Enterprise.

Bolt.new. Bolt.new, from StackBlitz, runs on token allowances. Its Teams plan is $27/member/month billed annually, with centralized billing and admin controls.

Enterprise is a custom annual contract that includes SSO, audit logs, SOC 2, GDPR, ISO 27001, and a dedicated account manager. Our Bolt.new alternatives guide compares the wider field.

Superblocks. Superblocks is the governed enterprise vibe coding platform. Business teams practice federated building with Clark, its AI builder, while IT sets the guardrails once.

Teams is a flat $125/month for up to 15 builders and includes RBAC. SSO, audit logs, and VPC deployment are Enterprise features, and apps connected to Git are versioned in your own repository.

Hybrid deployment runs the data plane in your own AWS, GCP, or Azure VPC, and Cloud-Prem runs the full platform, including inference, in your own cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Superblocks is SOC 2 Type II certified and HIPAA compliant, according to its trust center.

Superblocks also imports apps from other tools, including Base44, according to its App Imports announcement. Superblocks is built for internal apps.

Why not Replit, Lovable, or Base44?

"Those tools are great for proof of concept. But they don't connect well to existing enterprise data sources, and they don't have the governance guardrails that IT requires for production use."
