Frequently asked questions
What is Superblocks?
Superblocks is an all-in-one programmable platform for developers to build custom internal tools like Applications, Workflows and Scheduled Jobs. Typically to help their Customer Support & Operations teams operate.
Who is Superblocks designed for?
What is a Creator?
Creators are those who build Superblocks Internal Applications, Workflows and Scheduled Jobs. Creators can edit, preview, deploy and manage users, permissions, audit logs, version history and more.
What are App Viewers?
App Viewers are those who consume the Superblocks Apps that the creators build. They are often but not exclusively Customer Support & Operations.
What is a Viewer Day Pass
A Viewer Day Pass is consumed when a Viewer accesses Superblocks Apps within a 24 hour period. The Day Pass model enables all your employees with an account at no charge and allows you to scale with successful usage. This accommodates for seasonality, shift work and occasional viewers.
How long does it take to learn Superblocks?
After following our 5 min Quickstart Guide to learn key concepts, it typically takes an 1 hour to get comfortable building and 1 day to ship a meaningful first app, workflow or scheduled job.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Superblocks never stores your data. If you use the cloud version, Superblocks acts as a proxy and all data is encrypted in transit. And for the on-prem agent your data never leaves your network at all to meet more complex compliance requirements. Read our Security Guide here.
Can I deploy Superblocks On-Premise?
Yes. Superblocks has an On-Premise Agent that secures the data plane inside your network while the control plane is in the cloud. You can deploy via Docker and it will secure the data from your databases and APIs inside your network or VPC.
